Abstract
- The main issue of contention between negotiations between Saudi Arabia and the U.S. over the sale of 84 new F-15S strike-fighters by the U.S. to Saudi Arabia is the degree of sophistication of the aircraft's active, electronically scanned array (AESA) radars. The Saudis now want an advanced version of the AESA radar than was originally planned.
