The sky is falling

The article discusses the varied and different technology systems and missile defense approaches that the three different international powers- China, Israel and the U.S. are following. Israel is concentrating on development of specialized ground-based defenses; China is building the world's largest inventory of defensive surface-to-air missiles (SAM); and the U.S. is looking at a set of capabilities such as combination solid-state and chemical/gas lasers and advanced air-to-air missiles capable of being carried by unmanned aircraft.
