Abstract
- Several studies are conducted to explain the synthesis, as well as the thermal properties of the disordered Nd-doped SrGd[Ga.sub.3][O.sub.7] laser crystal grown by the Czochralski method. The crystal is shown to demonstrate a glasslike behavior, as an increase in the temperature is shown to lead to a significant enhancement in its thermal conductivity.
