Abstract

New gas reserves have been discovered in the Mediterranean off Israel. Noble Energy Inc. has reported that a 3D seismic survey found a reservoir that could contain 453 billion cubic meters of gas. The amount of gas discovered is seen as sufficient to meet Israel's domestic consumption for 60 years.
