Abstract
- A novel, unnatural base pairs is created between fluorophore and quencher nucleobase analogues during the development of orthogonal extra base pairs for expanding the genetic alphabet. The new unnatural base pair system is suitable for detection methods of target nucleic acid sequences and the genetic alphabet expansion system with the replicable, unnatural fluorophore-quencher base pair is a useful tool for sensing and diagnostic applications.
