Abstract

Mills-Peninsula Health Services is planning to sell several of its business units, which includes skilled nursing and dialysis units, in order to address a budget deficit and to prepare for challenging economic conditions in the future. Mills-Peninsula revealed that the planned sale will affect 219 of its employees, who were warned in an internal memorandum about the plan.
