Timing may hurt U.S. export-control proposals

The new proposed draft regulations released by the U.S. White House could greatly help U.S. weapon makers and defense companies by easing export license requirements for many weapons and parts. However, the proposals still need to be passed by the U.S. Congress, which is a tough job.
