Direct synthesis of ethylene-acrylic acid copolymers by insertion polymerization

Abstract: A new approach for the direct copolymerization of ethylene with acrylic acid is presented. The results demonstrate that the neutral palladium(II) phosphinesulfonato polymerization catalysts play an extremely significant role in the production of these copolymers.
