Abstract
- Research was conducted to examine the relative motion of the bound host-guest complexes using the time-resolved polarization spectroscopy approach. The objective of the study is to address the flexibility of intermolecular complexes with anthracene-1,3-dicarboxylate and two bis-guanidinium receptors with different site geometries as the host molecules. Results indicate that it is possible to estimate the frequency of the host-guest potential and the range of the guest chromophore's angular displacement using a simple model.
