Abstract

Demographics, wage differentials for educated people, and the continued shift towards a knowledge base in the US economy are the fundamental factors which have led educational services industry stocks to be timely in 1999. Growth in the US economy will be driven by information technology and many of the companies in the educational services industry offer training in this area. Earnings growth for these stocks is projected to be from 20% to 30% through the years 2001-2003.
