How to woo the Tory press

The UK Labour party has made considerable efforts to gain the support of some elements of the Conservative press. It has appealed directly to influential journalists at the Sun and the Daily Mail, and has even been successful in gaining limited backing from the Daily Telegraph, which has traditionally been a very strong supporter of the Conservative party.
