Abstract
- Scientific discoveries in the 18th century came from diverse sources, yet British contributions made a distinct impact. British historians of this period, sometimes called the Scientific Revolution, tend to be overwhelmed by the complexity of their subject. However, a distinctly British approach to this topic is possible and has in a few instances been achieved.
