China-Cyprus relations developing

Cyprus and China have engaged in a friendly relationship for many years, with Cyprus grateful for China's constructive stance over the Cyprus question. China and Cyprus have formed several key agreements, including agreements on maritime transport and tourism, the Agreement on Cultural Cooperation, the Agreement on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation and the Agreement on Trade. Cooperation between the two countries should be further enhanced by Cypriot President Glafcos Clerides' planned visit to China.
