New robust bleomycin analogues: synthesis, spectroscopy, and crystal structures of the copper(II) complexes

Abstract: Research was conducted to examine two new bleomycin analogues whose synthesis, spectroscopy and crystal structures were analyzed. Their Cu(super II) complexes were isolated and characterized by X-ray crystallography. X-ray crystallography showed that the successive replacement of hydrogen atoms by methyl groups on the carbon atoms changed the values of tau from 0.087 to 0.37.
