Abstract
- Perceptions of medical specialists in New South Wales, Australia, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand on health service reform are discussed as seen from a postal questionnaire survey to which 369 of 521 specialists responded. Enthusiasm for work seems to have been cut back among medical specialists by reforms which significantly cut resources and gave greater control to nonmedical managers and left them knowing less about the goals of empolyers.
