Abstract
- The design, construction and subsequent testing of the superconducting final focus magnet system intended for the interaction region of the KEKB electron-positron collider of the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization of Japan is presented. The asymmetric-energy, two-ring KEKB accelerator, composed of two solenoid field compensation magnets and two superconducting quadrupoles equipped with three types of correction coils, is intended for B-meson physics.
