Single crystal growth and ferroelectric properties of alpha(Ba(sub 1-x)Srx)Nb2O6:beta(Na(sub 1-y)Ky)NbO3 solid solutions

A study is conducted on the single crystal growth and ferroelectric properties of A-site filled tungsten bronze-type alpha(Ba(sub 1-x)Sr(sub x))Nb2O6:beta(Na(sub 1-y)Ky)NbO3 (where alpah:beta = 2:1, 9:2, x = 0.75, 0.60 and y = 0.50, 0.40 and 0.25). It is shown that compositions with low ratios of Ba and Na in the 2:1 section plane have high polarizability, low dielectric loss and ferroelectric relaxor characteristics.
