Study calls for new USAF jamming aircraft

The Scientific Advisory Board did a study of the U.S. Air Force's airborne electronic warfare and how to improve it. Some of the studies findings were that EW needs to be elevated to a higher level of importance so that combat aircraft survivability is not jeopardised; new jamming aircraft needs to be purchased; and 'elevate EW investments on a par with stealth and reorganize acquisition and operations of these esoteric skills.'
