Abstract
- Although Sjogren's syndrome can affect the parasympathetic system, this does not cause eye dryness in most patients. Sjogren's syndrome is an autoimmune disease that affects the nervous system in about one-fourth of all patients. In a study of 41 patients, 15% had abnormal parasympathetic function.
