Salt-templated open frameworks (Cu-2): novel phosphates and arsenates containing M3(X2O7)(sub2)(super2-) (M = Mn, Cu, X = P, As) micropores 5.3 Angstroms and 12.7 Angstroms in diameter

Research is presented describing the isolation of a family of salt-templated arsenates and phosphates, A2M3(X2O7)2.(salt). The MXO framework is not destroyed when the space-filling, charge-compensation alkali metal chloride salts are removed.
