Abstract

The refined model of the self-assembled bacteriochlorphyll c from Chlorobium tepidum exhibits chlorophyll stacks in either anti- or syn-configuration analogous to the aggregation shifts of the chlorophyll in the bacterial chromosome. Data predict a bilayer model for the tubular supra-structure sheets of bacteriochlorophyll c.
