The multidimensional inventory of black identity: a validation study in a British sample

This article evaluates the validity of a psychological test designed to measure constructs related to ethnic identity among Blacks. Findings indicate that the test demonstrates both predictive and construct validity, but African Americans and Black Britons have significant differences in scores related to self-concept and nationalism.
