Abstract

Research is presented describing the measurement of quenches in model magnets for the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) inner triplet quadrupoles, being developed and tested by the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. The model superconducting quadrupoles are 2m long with 70mm diameter bores.
