Abstract
- Using 2019 ACS-NSQIP data, including older age, male sex, preoperative mobility aid use, delirium history, weight loss, sepsis, and non-elective surgery, this study identified risk factors for postoperative delirium in patients after hip fracture surgery. Findings inform targeted delirium prevention programs for nurses.
