Abstract
- Researchers report the first known bacterial enzyme that is involved in fluorometabolite synthesis. It is an NAD+-dependent fluoroacetaldehyde dehydrogenase from Streptomyces cattleya that oxidizes fluoroacetaldehyde to fluoroacetate.
