Abstract: Results indicate that Ralstonia eutropha strain Bo utilize tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol for growth and synthesize aldehyde dehydrogenases including the aldehyde dehydrogenase 4, whose N-terminal sequence bears similarities to other NAD(P)-dependent aldehyde dehydrogenases.
