Abstract
- Results demonstrate that the silylcopper catalyst, dimethylphenylsilylcopper(I), efficiently participates in the reductive bromination of Hajos dione. Data suggest that the method is reproducible, amenable to scale-up, and high yielding. The yield of the CD synthon from Hajos dione is about 47%.
