Abstract

Research has been conducted on Staphylococcus aureus strains, recovered from the patient with toxic shock syndrome, which have high aconitase activity. The hypothesis that the aconitase specific activity decreases over time during the in vitro passage has been examined and the effect of the serial passage on the growth and virulence factor production has been investigated.
