Abstract
- Tests on compost odor control were performed with an ash material made of incinerated whole tree chips. Various amounts of ash/compost volume ratios were used, and emissions were measured for volatile fatty acids, sulfur compounds, aldehydes and ketones, and ammonia. Ash was found to be an effective and economic means of odor control.
