Abstract
- An overview is presented on the development of Late Stone Age and Iron Age societies in Cameroon, using evidence from the Shum Laka Rock Shelter excavations. Findings suggest that an original culture developed in the Shum Laka region between 5000 and 2500 years ago, which is believed to be characterized by aboriculture.
