Abstract
- Declines in major stock indexes are read to prefigure resistance in the technology industry to the economic recovery in the wider U.S. economy. The Dow Jones Industrial shed 132, or 1.3%, to 10,271; the Nasdaq lost 4.1%, falling 75 points to 1770; and the S and P 500 fell 22 points to 1122, a 2.1% decline.
