Abstract
- In Drosophila comatose, the sec 18-1 mutation, in terms of G89D substitution in the Sec 18p domain, affects the protein's ability to bind to Sec17p of the yeast soluble N-ethylmaleimide-sensitive fusion protein (NSF) attachment protein. Data suggest that NSF protein binds to soluble NSF attachment protein and it is dependent on ATPase stimulation.
