3- and 3,4-bis(2-cyanoethylsulfanyl)thiophenes as building blocks for functionalized thiophene-based pi-conjugated systems

Research has been conducted on the 3- and 3,4-bis(2-cyanoethylsulfanyl)thiophenes. Results indicate that these compounds can be prepared on a one-pot reaction and can be deprotected under mild conditions.
