Chiral nonracemic synthesis and reactivity of two new endocyclic enamines in the phenyloxazolopiperidine series

Abstract: A convenient synthetic approach to generate the alpha-cyano-1,4-dihydropyridine and oxazolopiperidine is described. Results show that the two compounds are powerful enamines by [2+2] cycloaddition reactions with diethyl acetylenedicarboxylate.
