Abstract
- Women with cervical cancer who have antibodies in their blood against human papillomavirus 16 appear to have a better prognosis than women who do not, according to a study of 68 women with cervical cancer and 65 healthy women. The presence of antibodies against the virus may indicate that the virus has not yet inserted its DNA into the host cell.
