Temperature-dependent isotope effects in soybean lipoxygenase-1: correlating hydrogen tunneling with protein dynamics

Research has been conducted on the soybean lipoxygenase-1. The use of the site-directed mutagenesis in which the hydrophobic residues within the soybean lipoxygenase-1 active site have been replaced by alanine and the effect of these residues on the H.tunneling modulation probed by variable-temperature kinetic isotope effect are discussed.
