Abstract: An evaluation of the Body Checking Questionnaire indicates that it may play a useful role in eating disorder diagnosis and treatment. The 23-item self-report inventory uses correlated subfactors that examine checking behaviors related to specific body parts, overall appearance, and idiosyncratic checking rituals.
