Abstract
- Research has been conducted on cytochrome c oxidase. The role of bound Cl (super)- in cytochrome c oxidase's redox-linked protonation kinetics and stoichiometry has been investigated via the use of multiwavelength stopped-flow spectroscopy and the results demonstrate that H (super)+ promotes this protonation and Cl (super)- dissociation.
