4-hydroxypyridine-2,6-dicarboxylatodioxovanadate(V) complexes: solid state and aqueous chemistry

Results bring out the differences between the vanadium(V) complex of dihydrogen-dipic-OH and the complexes of dihydrogen-dipic in solid state and in solution. Data indicate that the differences between the dipicolinatodioxovanadate(V) parent complex and the dipic-OH complex are due to the substitutional differences in the ligands.
