Abstract

Research has been conducted on fibroblast growth factor signaling. The functions of this signaling during pharyngeal region development have been investigated, and the results demonstrate that these factors mediated by tyrosine kinase-type receptors are required for the neural crest cell entry into the second branchial arch.
