Abstract

Research has been conducted on human apolipoprotein C-II. The study of the disulfide cross-linking role in amyloid formation by this apolipoprotein has been carried out, and the results demonstrate that N- and C-termini of apolipoprotein C-II are close together in amyloid fibril and that its N or C end promotes nucleation and fibril growth.
