Abstract
- Results show that the disulfide-dimerized peptide exhibits increased permeabilization and antimicrobial activity than the monomeric peptide at low concentrations. Furthermore, the dimer releases more carboxyfluorescein. Taken together, data indicate that the dimeric peptide has a role in the structural diversity of antimicrobial peptides in frog skin.
