Flag : National Colors.

This flag served as the national colors of the 1st Ohio Volunteer Infantry. The flag has seventeen silver stars outlined in red still intact on a blue canton (due to deterioration some stars have been lost). The stars appear to be arranged in a rectilinear pattern. The flag's thirteen alternating red and white stripes are pieced. In the flag's middle red stripe is the text: "1ST REG'T". Some of the flag's text is no longer legible or intact due to deterioration.
