Flag : National Colors.

This flag served as the national colors of the 59th Ohio Volunteer Infantry. The flag has twenty-five applique stars still intact on a blue canton (due to deterioration some stars have been lost). One star is located in the center of the canton, surrounded by a small circle of six stars, which is surrounded by a larger circle of stars. One star is also placed in each of the canton's four corners. The flag's thirteen alternating red and white stripes are pieced.
