Abstract

Expeditionary Forces, with landing missions, are numerous. in history, but the circumstances of organization and equipment of other Armies, are entirely foreign to that of our army. It is therefore necessary to branch out upon a new field, giving consideration only to organization that is familiar and equipment and transportation that is now in use or undergoing experiment in our own forces.
