Abstract

The propagation of sound waves, defined as an oscillatory motion with small amplitude in a compressible fluid, can be described by the linearized Euler equations (LEE), under the assumptions that there is no feedback to the mean-flow and that effects of viscosity and heat conduction can be neglected.<br />The original document contains color images.
