Abstract

Photograph of the Plaza de Armas, city of Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico, ca.1905. A tall pointed clock tower dominates the plaza in which trees and plants are growing. The clock indicates it is 3:25. Spaced at intervals around the perimeter of the plaza are streetlights and benches. A 3- or 4-tiered fountain is visible in the middle of the plaza. A few other buildings are visible behind the trees. In the background is a huge rock promontory towering over the city.
