Abstract
- Thermophysical properties of equilibrium and supercooled liquid platinum were measured using non-contact diagnostic techniques with an electrostatic levitator. Over the 1,691 to 2,216 K temperature range, the density can be expressed as rho(T) = 19.2 x 10(exp 3) - 0.96 (T-T(sub m)) (kg/cu m) with T(sub m) = 2,041 K, yielding a volume expansion coefficient of 5.0 x 10(exp -5) /K(sup -1). In addition, the surface tension can be expressed as gamma(T) = 1.80 x 10(exp 3) - 0.14 (T-T(sub m)) (10(exp -3) N/m(sup -1)) and the viscosity as eta(T) = 0.25exp [4.99x 10(exp 4)/(RT)] (10(exp -3) Pas) over the 1,743 to 2,313 K temperature range.
JAXA Research and Development Report
宇宙航空研究開発機構研究開発報告
