Abstract

Discusses whether a person aged 62 to 65 who has experienced a qualifying life event causing that person to lose job-based health insurance coverage may elect coverage under the federal Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act or whether the federal Affordable Care Act requires that person to obtain individual coverage through the state's health insurance exchange.
