Abstract

MHTs (MHT-p, MHT-N) represented superior corrosion inhibition effect against chloride induced pitting corrosion in simulated concrete pore solution when compared with the pure inhibitors (pAB, NaNO2). Among them, MHT-p exhibited a better improvement of inhibition effect than MHT-N. This result is probably caused by the bigger ion exchange capacity between pAB ion and chloride ion in MHT-p. MHT-p was almost as effective as NaNO2.
electrochemical and corrosion
Materials Science & Engineering
Mechanical, Maritime and Materials Engineering
